Nissan Builds Anticipation for 2013 Altima with Teaser Video

Back in August of 2011, a few sneaky spy shots sparked the interest of fans of the Nissan Altima. Camouflaged and covered in black plastic, the photographed 2013 Altima offered up the tiniest glimpse, revealing a Versa- inspired front end and a hunchback trunklid reminiscent of the Nissan Maxima. Now, just weeks before the model's official unveiling, Nissan has leaked an elusive teaser video.

Barely eight seconds in length, the sequence offers a quick, heavily-shadowed aerial view of the upcoming Altima. What can we deduce from the image? Not a whole lot. However, we at Hunt Nissan have called on our deductive powers and determined that the new Altima will take a few steps away from the model's current conservative styling. Translated into details, this means enthusiasts can expect to see more defined curves and a sleeker build.

As we alluded to before, the 2013 Nissan Altima will make its complete debut at the New York Auto Show in April. In addition to the redesigned sedan, the automaker's luxury arm will lift the cover on a LE concept electric sedan and Nissan itself will reveal the NV200 Taxi which will ultimately serve as the "New York City Taxi of Tomorrow." All in all, brand followers will find a whole trove of Nissan gems in New York and will even have the chance to hear Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn speak at a special kick-off breakfast.

For those of you who can't make it to the exciting automotive mecca, Hunt Nissan has good news. Our team members will be staying alert around the clock and delivering all the latest auto show news and information to you via our Nissan blog. Also, don't hesitate to stop by 2121 Chapman Road Chattanooga, TN 37421 in person to ask us questions regarding the New York show or any new Nissan vehicles.
