Since 2005, Nissan has cranked out a series of electric vehicle concept models that, while not exactly plausible, have been quite interesting to view. Latest in the lineup is the Nissan PIVO 3 which will make its debut at the upcoming Tokyo Motor Show this December. While not everyone is jumping on the miniature-sized EV bandwagon, Hunt Nissan thinks the PIVO 3 has what it takes to make it to the future market.

Here are some of the features that could convince even the toughest skeptic:

-          All electric power and by-wire control technology
-          Self-charging capability
-          Nissan Around View Monitor system to minimize blind spots
-          Robotic agent interface with cloud-computing technology
-          Automated Valet Parking (AVP): allows vehicle to automatically park

While the Nissan EV model's 9.84-ft length might scare some off, it is small size that gives the PIVO 3 the ability to make legal U-turns on roads as small as 4 meters wide. In case better agility isn't enough to perk your interest, listen to this. The vehicle's front row is designed to place the driver at center stage. This means that with a bigger, slightly extended seat the driver can sit between two passengers and experience significantly improved visibility.

As we previously mentioned, the PIVO 3 certainly has the potential to someday make it to production with other new Nissan models.
