Nissan Helping People in Difficult Time

As we all know that the southeastern United States has been getting nailed by severe weather recently. And while some are standing idly by, others are actually doing something about it. Nissan, for example.

The Japanese automaker, had just promised $115,000 in relief aid to the American Red Cross to help them provide food, clothing and shelter for storm victims in the southeastern U.S, they are stepping up to the plate again. This time around Nissan announced they are offering employee pricing and delayed finance payments to consumers who lost or sustained damage to their vehicle due to the devastating storms, floods and tornadoes that have destroyed many towns and cities across America's southeastern region.

"Because of Nissan's strong presence in the southeastern U.S., we've seen close-up the impact of recent devastating weather, which has left many area residents without personal transportation," says Brian Carolin, Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing NNA. "We want to do our part to assist our neighbors, and are offering employee pricing to disaster victims as one way to help them return to normal."1

What Nissan is offering by extending their employee pricing program is essentially offering storm victims $1,500 off the dealer invoice, plus any other incentives that may apply. The second part of the program, called the Payment Delay Plan, allows eligible customers to delay three payments without incurring any penalty fees.

To be eligible for this generous program, drivers must be resident of Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, Mississippi, Arkansas or Kentucky, within a county listed on the FEMA website (www.fema.gove/news/disasters.fema). Nissan buyers interested in taking advantage of the plan will be required to show proof of damage.
