It looks like Honda, Hyundai and Toyota have to watch out for Nissan ! And February's numbers prove it: Nissan's popularity is growing by leaps and bounds. To be precise the numbers show a significant jump of more than 30 percent. That's tremendous! And, that growth doesn't even take into account for the wild success of Nissan's luxury brand, Infiniti.

If this is certainly due in part to rising consumer confidence. But there is nmore. As stated by Al Castignetti, vice president and general manager, Nissan division "Nissan enjoyed a record February on strong increases by several models, clearly led by the best-ever month for Rogue. Even though February is a short month, we saw great customer traffic on models across our lineup." ¹

Among Nissan's top performers in February were cars and small crossovers. Sales of the Rogue crossover, for example, increased aan amazing 86 percent. Sales of the Sentra compact car came in at a close second, jumping 62 percent. And sales for the Nissan Altima midsize car rose nearly 29 percent.
