After being around for almost four years, the latest Nissan GT-R generation will be receiving some powerful enhancements in the land down under. Australian Nissan drivers can expect added features including a more powerful suspension, combined with more horsepower, in the upcoming Spec R variant. 2012's Nissan GT-R is capable of 0-100km/h (aka - 0 to 62 miles per hour) in 3.0 seconds flat. Nissan's Spec R variant 0 to 62 mph time has not been confirmed, but has been rumored to hit around the 2 second mark. This will make the new Nissan GT-R Spec R be one of the fastest vehicles to ever come out of the Japanese auto maker's lineup.

According to the online magazine 7Tune, "The Japanese manufacturer is about to embark on testing of the last face lifted model during the second half of this year."¹
