Nissan Leaf Reported Already Sold Out in US

The 2011 Nissan LEAF isn't even actually on sale yet within the United States - and the vehicle is already sold out.

More than 19,000 customers (13,000 in the US and 6,000 in Japan) have reserved a new Nissan LEAF. Considering that Nissan can only produce 12,000 vehicles by March 2011, the Nissan LEAF is sold out for 2010.

Nissan to Provide Some Free Electric Car Charging Stations

Fans of the upcoming 2011 Nissan LEAF are already aware of the benefits (both financial and environmental) of owning an all electric, rechargeable vehicle. But now here is more good news from Nissan - the first 4,700 buyers of a Nissan LEAF will receive one free recharge station for their homes.

Nissan states that five markets are set to receive free charging stations. Theses include the state of Oregon; the Seattle metropolitan area; the Phoenix and Tucson area; San Diego; and key markets in Tennessee, including Knoxville and Chattanooga.
